The Border Queen Harvest Hub (BQHH) is excited to announce the hiring of Becca Murry from Argonia as its executive director.
Murry hit the ground running on her first day in her new role by visiting all five farms on the Oxford Farm Tour, which had more than 100 people from as far away as Kansas City visit the farms on June 29.
The Border Queen Harvest Hub is hiring for an executive director. If you or someone you know is a fit, please encourage them to apply by May 17!
The Harvest Hub Executive Director has broad responsibilities in strategic efforts to improve local and regional food systems, as well as ensuring the effective operation of the organization. To be most effective, the director should have a collaborative leadership style and an ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining an openness to changing situations and opportunities.
Responsibilities
Congratulations to Leah Sommerhoff, the winner of the Border Queen Harvest Hub logo design! The choice was hard since 29 wonderfully creative logos were submitted which speaks well of the community engagement and interest. Members of the Shop Kansas Farms/Kansas Farm Bureau team along with members of Vision Caldwell used a democratic process of comparing, contrasting and then finally choosing the logo!
