Join us for our very first class — a hands-on, 4-session series focused on pressure canning, the only safe way to preserve low-acid foods like vegetables, meats, and soups at home.

What is Pressure Canning?
Pressure canning is a method for preserving low-acid foods by heating them in sealed jars to 240°F using pressurized steam. This high temperature is essential to destroy harmful bacteria — including Clostridium botulinum, the cause of botulism — which cannot be killed through regular boiling or steam canning. The result? A vacuum-sealed jar that keeps your food shelf-stable and safe for months to come.

Class Schedule (4 Sessions):

  • November 1 | 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
  • November 6 | 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
  • November 15 | 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
  • November 20 | 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Cost: $55 for the full 4-session series
